The video game accessory manufacturer Razer has now developed its first set of completely wireless earphones with a low-latency gaming mode and muted audio. The Hammerhead True Wireless earphones are classy-sounding, unassuming in appearance, and excellent for exercising. If you’re utilizing Hammerhead True to play games, it also provides a strong bass sound and a balanced sound.
Performance
Although the Razer Hammerhead earphones lack an in-channel seal, they are loud and feature a rich bass. The lyrical voices and sound of the marching band are also audible in the background fairly clearly in the mix and are drawing a lot of attention on their own even as the continuous thumping of the drums and bass becomes more and more prominent.
The guitar strum, drums, and vocals can all be heard at lower frequencies, while the electric bass has a powerful, deep sound. The higher frequencies were less clear, and perhaps a channel seal would have improved the bass response, but overall, the sound quality is good for the price.
The performance of the microphone is also good. Test recordings sound sufficiently rich and clear, picking up some ambient noise while maintaining the prominence and clarity of your voice.
The earbuds are also decent enough for gaming because they meet sound requirements and have a microphone that can hear when playing games, however they can’t compete with the boom mics of premium gaming headsets or dedicated USB mics. These headphones prioritize music listening or use while working out.

Design and Features
Hammerhead by Razer Similar to Apple’s AirPods in design, true earphones come with Razer specifications and come in a black color. Even with the ear tips that stay in the ear but don’t go into the ear, you’d think that Apple aficionados would be familiar with the earbud-and-stem arrangement.
Razer doesn’t employ silicone sealing for the ear tips, therefore there is a little variation. These headphones have an IPX4 rating, which implies they are water-resistant—just a little bit after a workout, not much water. When looking for earphones for the gym, an IPX5 rating or higher is ideal.
Hammerhead Razer On point Each earpiece has a glossy black panel with the green Razer emblem attached on the back. The touch-sensitive keypad on this panel has mirror controls on both sides. For gaming, audio latency is typically not a big problem, although you could find it a little bothersome when it’s occasionally a fraction of a second off. However, this is not a significant issue. Because this earphone part is only infrequently used, the rest is excellent.
In the shape of a straightforward black pillbox with an indicator light on the front and a lanyard hole for the supplied wrist strap on the left, Razer Hammerhead True created a charging case that was inspired by Apple’s headphones. According to Razer, the case can extend battery life by an additional 12 hours, bringing the total up to four hours. For true wireless earphones, it is quite low.
